There's one day here and the next day gone. Sometimes you bend, sometimes you stand, sometimes you turn your back to the wind. There's a world outside every fucking door. For the brave offering lover's store, come ride with me to the distant store. To break down the garden game. But there's not much time today, all nine and all the I want that all nine.

SPEAKER_05

I love this road.

I know people really a lot of people have stopped reading the news, a lot of people don't pay attention to what's happening, but it's always been a very important part of my life without a child growing up, uh watching uh black and white TV news and reading the local newspaper and uh Yeah, been doing that for many, many moons and important, and we really do need to think on top of what's happening. But I get it, I get it. A lot of people they don't really care. But guess what? We're gonna bring you the news on every radio show. We're gonna tell you what's happening here in our local community. SPEAKER_07

You can still go home after two shots of bourbon, but that third one is gonna lead to four, and even though you won't leave there hurting in the morning, you'll be sure that you ain't drinking any more. Where's lessons that this life has taught me more than twice, and I don't know why it is, but I always forget. Jesus says, Time don't wait. Not everyone to take a leader home. Dark is cheap, love is free. Something's changing, something's won't. But ain't that the way it goes? I'm still learning what I already know. You can spend all of your days making a living, but if you let it, it gets in the way of making life. Sorry is just a word if you don't mean it. And if she's leaving, she's probably leaving cause you didn't mean it in time. But I've had all this figured out more times than I can count. Jesus saves it, time don't wait. Love is free. Something's changed, something's won. I'm still working for already The more I learn how to live, the more I live and learn again. Love is free. Something's changing, something's wrong. But ain't that the way it goes? I'm still learning what I already know. Yeah, I'm still learning. Yeah, I'm still learning.

SPEAKER_08

I know the rules of a breakup. Do each another and ruin your name. Baby, we can make a mess and make up. Lie about it if I say it you plays. We can both be angry.

SPEAKER_21

Hate you and you hate me. But we could play that game and stay the same. But what if we don't have to choose?

SPEAKER_07

What if no one has to lose? I hope you beat somebody who Loved you like I couldn't do. Cause baby, you and me were never right. But we ain't gotta be on different sides. So what if we just fold our choose? Yeah, divine looks good on you. And it looks good on me too.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, we ain't gotta make a heartbreak harder. You ain't gotta make a mama heavy. I ain't gotta be a midtown bot. I don't need a new world to stay. We can still let the same fate. We can stay at the same time. I just want you happy and hope you are.

SPEAKER_07

But what if we don't have to choose? What if no one has to lose? I hope you be somebody who's feel like I couldn't do and me with never died. We gotta feel different sides. So what if we just don't touch you? And it looks good on me.

SPEAKER_21

We could both be a big day giving you hate. We could play that game, not today.

SPEAKER_14

But what if we don't have to choose? What if no one has to lose?

SPEAKER_07

I couldn't be somebody who Looksy like I couldn't do. Cause baby you and me were never right. We gotta be on different sides. So what if we just called the truth? Yeah, good vibe looks good on you, and it looks good on me too. And it looks good on me too.

SPEAKER_04

And it looks good on me too.

SPEAKER_07

My lucky star fell out of the sky right before my wishing well went dry. Seemed every which way I go. There's a black cat crossing the road. Played the lottery with last month's rent. I'm still waiting on my ship to come in. Bad luck was always hanging around. A good role was always letting me down. Had every reason in the world to give up. But you came along and now it's gone so long, bad luck. My first love said she'd loved me for life. Slipped out one night and never told me goodbye. My second love convinced me love again. Then she left me for my best friend. My third and fourth went crazy as hell. I even bought a rabbit's foot, but that didn't go. A good row was always letting me down. Had every reason in the world to give up. You came along now, it's gone so long. Bad luck. Horseshoe over my shoulder. Sivin, come on, living girl. I'm lucky I found you. Bad luck was always hanging around. A good bro was always letting me down. Had every reason in the world to give up. But you came along and now it's long, so long, bad luck. So long, bad luck.

SPEAKER_15

In 2021 five of these deaths were on the Gulf Coast rip currents are the number one ruther related killer at the beaches along the northern Gulf Coast. The number of rip current fatalities on these beaches is more than the fatalities of flooding tornadoes lightning and tropical storms or hurricanes combined. Learn the facts before heading out to the beach check current beach conditions and know what each flag means. Always swim near a lifeguard. Rip currents are narrow currents that flow away from the beach. If you notice we're being pulled away from the beach and are swimming and getting tired you may be in a rip current. Think of it like a treadmill that you can't turn off. You want to step to the side of it don't swim against the current try to swim across it in a direction following the shoreline. Rip currents do not pull you under but may take you as far out as a football field so people can tire quickly. The most important thing is to stay calm. If you can't escape the current float or calmly tread water. Wave for help if you can rip current strength eventually subsides and may even take you closer to shore. If you see someone caught in a rip current call 911 or get a lifeguard and throw something that floats towards the victim.

SPEAKER_18

For more information please visit www.visitalbeaches dot com slash safety and once again on this Monday morning here in the Blue Ram media studio right now I'm sitting at the news and weather dash guys we have been looking at the extended weather forecast here along the Gulf Coast and I've got the latest updated weather tracking for you right now beautiful weather anticipating that we're gonna probably have very little chance of the rain today but there is always very little right at 90 degrees wind coming out of the west at about 10 to 12 miles per hour and about 39 to 80 will be the overnight low we're gonna have probably that 15 or so percentage of any rain here along the Gulf Coast today. But overall sunny and bright is what they are predicting for tomorrow we're gonna have a repeat really of today with just a little bit more of an increase ability of rain showers later on Tuesday afternoon. The high tomorrow will be again right around 90 degrees at a high 80 in the overnight wind tracking from the west southwest tomorrow at about nine to twelve miles per hour. That's to be expected when you're living here along the Alabama Gulf Coast. Wednesday will once again be very much like Monday and Tuesday. We're looking at a high on Wednesday during your midweek at about 90 degrees. The overnight 79 or 80 degrees with winds coming out of the southwest at about 9 to 12 miles per hour. Again, we can't rule out rain showers somewhere along the daytime. 25%. But that's, you know, to be expected here on the Gulf Coast. Thursdays when things start to ramp up a little bit. Temperature-wise, the temperature will be right around 89 degrees during the daytime, 78 in the overnight, winds coming out of the southeast on Thursday at 9 to 12 miles per hour. However, we do have a higher risk of thunderstorms on Thursday, about 40% likelihood. Friday, it really begins to ramp up a little bit higher. The temperature, again, between 89 and 90 degrees on your Friday. Winds coming out of the east-southeast at 10 to 12 miles per hour. And the overnight we're looking at about 78 or 79 degrees. But thunderstorm-wise, well, we're going to be cranking that up about 55 to 60% on Friday. We're going to have sunshine part of the day, but those thunderstorms, as you know, they are notorious for moving in later in the afternoon once the air gets heated up, and uh that's what's going to be expected on Saturday and Sunday as well. Temperatures right around 88, 89, 90 degrees. During the daytime, right around 80 in the overnight. Saturday thunderstorms, scattered thunderstorms 60% once again. And Sunday again, scattered thunderstorms about 60%. The high Saturday and Sunday about 89 degrees. Moving into the work week on the 10th of August, we're looking again at partly cloudy. That means some sunshine will be available to us, but also some clouds and a 28% chance of rain somewhere, somehow, during the day. Temperature-wise, again, hot and muggy, 90 degrees during the daytime, 80 in the overnight. Winds will be blowing from the south-southwest at 9 to 12 miles per hour. We're tracking more thunderstorms moving into your next week. And that's gonna be afternoon, mainly thunderstorms. Anywhere from 25 to 40 percent. We're gonna know more about that when we get into Thursday's studio and start looking at those uh storm chances coming in. But for your next week, it's gonna be mostly sunny, hardly cloudy, hardly rainy, hardly hot. Well, forget the partly, isn't it? It's literally gonna be hot. It's gonna be in the 90s, low 90s for sure. And of course the overnight, right around 80. We're gonna have all of this situated for you with the latest track, the latest information on Thursday's program, and that's your weather Coastal Alabama Radio.

SPEAKER_11

Say you need a change. Don't all the dreams we've seen come true, mean anything. You say it's different, you keep staring at the door.

SPEAKER_07

How can you go away?

SPEAKER_11

Our love would come to this. Well, it's been fun. What else can I say?

SPEAKER_03

Just before the summer disappeared, we went around in them old farmhooks, hanging out on the gate-ish truck. We threw a blank and leave the sunset, being brave as eighteen years. We gave each other more than our hearts. With the help of a mason jar, drink a water metal blue job. Cut the bar with a little light. Parking back and you could. I was never biting light, boy. It was mine. Two young and though we love work. There's never nothing like the first time. The mind's always gonna taste bad. Water at the moon shot. I don't remember where we got it from. I just remember feeling all grown up. Taking booze like it ain't no thing. Never told him it was my first try. But I told him that he was the one. So sure when you're the egg. You think he got it all figured out? And now I laugh with a bigger bag. Drinking water at the food shot. Cup of bar with a little light. Parking backin' them cut the bag. I was getting bit a lot. Oh, it was mine. I know we love water. We were bad in the pretty wood. Mom's always gonna taste bad. Why don't we burst out? I thought that I would laugh forever. That ain't what love. Maybe we were drunk as love. Maybe we were just drinkin' watermelon moonshine. We cut the barn with a little line. Parking back and then cuts too fine. I was his and every bit of that boy. He was mine too young and all the love was But we were riding on the sweet books. There's never nothing like the first time. And mom's always gonna taste like Waterloo. What a little shot.

SPEAKER_07

Never from now on. Need someone know just hold on me. I'll never be far away. I'm here to stay. If you get lost, get lost on me. The second I looked into the eye, baby. I held on for my life. No matter what, I know we're right where I'm gonna be. Even if the old I just never get that I'm gonna die. I'm gonna die. Even when the back I'm gonna die.

SPEAKER_05

Even on the worst of days, I know it's gonna be okay. As long as I got to like it today.

SPEAKER_07

Whatever the crazy arms might do. Whatever it is that we go through, no matter what I know, we're right with all the beasts.

SPEAKER_18

SPEAKER_19

I was all but 22, I think at the time. I'd been out on the road, lonely at night, and it'd been a while, so it was on my mind. Well, I saw him walk in with his cowboy hat, and I thought to myself, I could use some of that. His boots like glass on a sawdust floor, had moves like nothing I'd ever seen before. So I walked right up and I pulled him to the side. I handed that man a beer, looked him in the eyes, and I said, baby, I think you're gonna wanna hear this.

SPEAKER_09

Then I told him, Excuse me, you look like you love me, you look like you want me to want you to come on home Baby, I don't wake you looking me up and down across the drone, drunk and ready to leave And you look like you love me While I was down at a local beer joint with a few of the guys this cute little country girl called my And boy let me tell you she was the prettiest thing I'd ever seen in a pair of boots Well, she walked right up to me, handed me a beer, gave me a look like, let's get out of here.

SPEAKER_17

And that's when I realized that she was every cowboy's dream come true. She told me this right here, she said, it is me.

SPEAKER_09

You look like you look like you all see a man in a cowboy hat you think to yourself, I think you still had Don't waste your time Just give this girl up a little like it's you all too I'm drunk and I'm ready you look like you love me, I'm drunk and I'm ready to leave, and you look like you love me.

SPEAKER_06

Some day when I'm all I'll pull up to the star, whatever the hell I want to. I'll buy box of moon pieces, flirt with the cashier, yeah, like I was still twenty-two. I'll bitch about eighteen dollars for a gallon of gas down at the Texaco when I know. Yeah, someday when I'm old, I'll keep chewing gum in my front pocket and cold doctor pepper in the fridge. I'll let my daughter get mad. See, I'm ruining their supper. I give that stuff to my grandkids. I realize that some things they just don't matter, and how fast it all goes someday when I the clock just starts ticking the day that you home, and no matter how much time you get, you always want more. Someday when I'm old, I'll be the only one that remembers you young and beautiful, your dark hair falling on that pillowcase, and on the secrets we share on the love that we raise the mouth hold under those precious commands like pieces of ghost.

SPEAKER_18

Someday when I parks and resorts would like to remind you about a special day, an annual event, actually, that's been happening now for a number of years. The community safety day! Take a responder and put safety first at our annual community safety day. First responders, law enforcement, fire, EMS, will all be gathered there on August the 22nd from 2 to 6 p.m. The community safety day will be downtown OA, and it's all about celebrating the people and the organizations that keep our community safe and strong. Spend the day meeting local first responders from across the area, watching canine training demonstrations, and of course enjoying a live DJ on OWA Island. Don't miss the Herald's Hunger Games, where first responders go head to head in a friendly competition. Join us for the fun, feel good day for families, friends, and neighbors all coming together to show appreciation for the heroes among us. Calling all first responders, register your department for the Herald's Hunger Games, a fast-paced challenge. We're getting raised to finish the sub sandwich with a large honour before shooting up in pole gear. Winning department take home the station banner, a trophy, hard ticket, and of course Dragon Right. That's all happening in August 22nd from 2 p.m. until 2 pm. Until poor publicity.

SPEAKER_16

You are pulled over because you've broken the law. And you are not wearing your feet. No matter what you do, you will get an issue for the ticket for your original violator. Pretty easy to remember.

SPEAKER_18
