Hello and welcome to Coastal Alabama Highway Ninety Eight Radio. Rick McCann behind the microphone. We've got the latest breaking news, extended weather forecast, and great music coming up live, broadcasting from the Blue Ran Media Studios here in Golf Shores, Alabama.
SPEAKER_16Silhouettes on bedroom walls, a little sweat as my parole.
SPEAKER_19Blue dreams just to top it off. Without you, I withdraw. We said it was just one time. Now I can't even go out without you. And every time I try to, I get a match I need to match. Your teeth ripping off my bell. If you're the devil, then you how do will I control myself? We stand it was just one time. Now I'm just bum bow.
SPEAKER_10Once again, we'll be featuring the music of the real newcomers. And some of the rain music. Of course. We want to feature fingers. And uh fingers are looking pretty good across the spectrum and uh we'd love to play even indie fingers music. So if you're an indie singer, you don't have to live in Alabama, but it would help. If you live in Nashville or elsewhere, too, help that you can have bluegrammedia.com. Of course, we got a lot of ton of music, we got the extended weather forecast for your breaking news and so much else to talk about. Some upcoming events. I mean, just because my fortune is over with, that doesn't mean we don't have a whole bunch of other events happening on the calendar. And every show will continue to uh to let you know what's happening here in our neck of the woods. But for the moment, I wanna step away and get some music back on uh well in the old days it was the turnstile, but back on the digital track here, and I'll be back with a whole bunch of other stuff to talk about on this Thursday morning.
SPEAKER_15I've been doing better, I hardly ever thank you lately, it ain't all sunshine when you cross my mind, I start missing you like crazy. I tried on the pain, but there ain't no damn way. I end up in that place, and I'm just one whiskey away, and I don't mind if I do drink up the nerve to show up at your house. If you wanna know the truth, it's killing me not holding you right now. I want memory away from falling all the way apart. Cause I might still love you. Hope you don't mind if I almost quit drinking for while I quit thinking about you. I got a little sleep. Some nights I can't control it. Sometimes I give in because not helping you. It's hard on me when I give in to that vice, who know the road rise. Girl, I know that's when starting. And I don't mind if I drink up the nerve, show the joke. If you want to know the truth, it's killing me not all you write on every way. So much to me. Hope you don't mind if I do need you to pick me up Covered in a good bottom dust. You're the only thing that gets me through.
SPEAKER_14Well, I don't mind if you do Drank a little too much and show up at my house. Be nice to hear the truth. Is it killing you, not holding me right now? It falling into me is the only thing you think is gonna get you through. Then I don't mind if you do. I don't mind.
SPEAKER_16She was born shots around. Only that her cousin just turned twenty-one. She took my hand and said, We're dancing. When she played a famous song, we didn't stop till everybody else was gone. I'm gonna change her name, but she don't know it yet. She's what I've been praying. Some that God wants in. I ain't never been the same since we first met. I'm gonna marry that girl. I'm gonna marry that girl. My best friend's tired of hearing me talk about her smile. She says you've only known her for a little while. I better take it slow. I just say I will, but I already know. I'm gonna change her name, but she don't know it yet. She's what I've been praying something, God for sin. I've never been a saint since we first met. I'm gonna marry that girl. I'm gonna marry that girl. I'll pick a perfect prank. I'll pick a perfect time. Ask her if she'll have me for the rest of my life. I'm gonna change her name, but she don't know me. She's what I've been praying. Something God won't say. I've never been the same as we first. I'm gone from every bad girl. I'm gone every badger. Don't change. Don't buy that brain. I'm gone from every bed. I'm gone from Mary that girls just want to want to do this.
SPEAKER_03You can tell your old man to do some largemouth fish in another town. You just got too much on your plate to aid and cast mine. You can always put a range at me. Take it putting on forever with that girl whose heart you hold. Swearing that you last someday further down the road. You can always go down Take If you got a chick, take it.
SPEAKER_19Take it if you got a chance.
SPEAKER_03If you got a change, just don't wait.
SPEAKER_10Well, guess what? Armor Tech is here on the Gulf Coast. Call them today at 251-264-2498. They will bring the train to you wherever you're at. 251-264-2498. These guys are fantastic. They're paramedic firefighters. They know their stuff. They'll also teach you AED to stop the bleeding and the use of Narcan. 251-264-2498. Broadcasting live from the beautiful Gulf Coast of Alabama, it's Highway 98. We've got your favorite new hits. Some of those good old hits. Indie music, gospel, bluegrass, and so much more. Here on Highway 98. We come across a lot of weird news items. And a lot of astounding news items. And we have one of those for you. More than 4,000 limestones. And headed to Alabama's culture to help replenish Oyster Badge around the feeder point. Oysters have been a part of Alabama's culture for over a thousand years, if you can believe it. From both an ecological and economic standpoint, according to Chris Blinkenship, the commissioner of the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, with continuously declining oyster populations since the 1950s, he says for a variety of reasons, isn't it? To make investments into the reason oysters and uh help them thrive so that the oyster population in the Alabama waters can continue to be successful. And in conjunction with the Alabama Wildlife Federation, looking material. Not really so much for me, but for those of you who love oysters and I love to see habitat, we find along the Gulf Coast, I love to keep our fish healthy and and marine and everything else. The ecosystem here is very important that we help it along. And I I'm pretty excited about this, and I hope that you will be as well.
SPEAKER_11Rip currents cause an estimated 100 deaths each year in the United States. In 2021, five of these deaths were on the Gulf Coast. Rip currents are the number one ruther-related killer at the beaches along the northern Gulf Coast. The number of rip current fatalities on these beaches is more than the fatalities of flooding, tornadoes, lightning, and tropical storms or hurricanes combined. Learn the facts. Before heading out to the beach, check current beach conditions and know what each flag means. Always swim near a lifeguard. Rip currents are narrow currents that flow away from the beach. If you notice you're being pulled away from the beach and are Swimming and getting tired, you may be in a rip current. Think of it like a treadmill that you can't turn off. You want to step to the side of it. Don't swim against the current. Try to swim across it in a direction following the shoreline. Rip currents do not pull you under, but may take you as far out as a football field so people can tire quickly. The most important thing is to stay calm. If you can't escape the current, float or calmly tread water. Wave for help if you can. Rip current's strength eventually subsides and may even take you closer to shore. If you see someone caught in a rip current, call 911 or get a lifeguard and throw something that floats towards the victim. For more information, please visit www.visitalbeaches.com slash safety.
SPEAKER_06And I ain't got no kind of plane. But I've had on the sound I can sing. And I got friends out on the coal. We can jump in the water and see what flows. We've been saving for any day. And if we want to have a chance to die. And be my only four. Starting over. Some days we might fall apart. And some nights might feel cold and dark. But nobody wins afraid of losing. And the hungrose all the water choosing.

SPEAKER_10And once again, I'm right here in the studios at the Blue Ran Media Studios. That is at the News and Weather Desk. And I've got that extended 10 Day Plus weather forecast for you. And you know what? It's kind of hard to predict exactly what's gonna happen. One thing that I definitely can tell you, and that is you can pretty much guarantee that the storms are gonna be in the middle. We are wrinkles the last two days, but now comes the thunderstorms and the other thunderstorms and the isolated storm. Once again, so for the rest of the day, we do have about a 40% chance of the thunderstorms mainly this morning, with sunshine breaking through later in the afternoon, early evening. The temperature high Thursday today will be right around 90 degrees during the daytime. And then about 80 degrees, not much difference really in the overnight. Winds are coming out of the southwest at about 10 miles per hour. And as we head on into the weekend Friday tomorrow, we're gonna still experience possible morning thunderstorms again. About a 40% chance very similar to Thursday, today's weather. And in the afternoon, I'm trying to break it through once again. The high will be 90 degrees, low 80. If you can call that low, of course, when coming out of the west at about 90 to 11 miles per hour. During the daytime. Around 39 in the overnight. And once again, the winds are blowing from the west on the bolt today. It's gonna be humid. And again, those thunderstorms won't be the whole day, but they're definitely in the middle. As we're heading on back to the work week on the 13th day, um July. Monday, again, we're gonna be looking at thunderstorms next round of the day. Wind coming out of the west at the end of the 14th miles. Again, amplitude will be high, right around 90 degrees, wind coming out of the east at about 90 degrees. Unfortunately, we still have those thunderstorms around the day. 35 to 40. Will we break through? Will break it through. I can almost get sometime during the day. When do you not look in a whole bunch of better actually thunderstorms again in the morning? Sometime in the afternoon. And wind coming out of the south eight. Nine percent will be the eighty in the overnight. Thunderstorm. We're coming out of the way. So we just have to keep our heads. Make sure we are kind of listening in on the weather box, the weather app on our phone, whatever it might be. That's your extended weather forecast, and we'll be back on the next show with what else is coming our way. Are you hiring? Are you looking for workers? SPEAKER_19She's saying the right things, it's drumming my heart strains, talking about our future home. But I hear the sirens, the buzzards arriving. Too many times been down this road. She ain't gonna mess me when I'm gone. She ain't gonna think about me too long. Cause every Friday night, there's another guy that she's laying up all alone. She ain't gonna bless me when I'm dead. She's knocking the boots with all my friends. Till the bottles dry, she can tell the lie she wants. But she ain't gonna bless me when I'm gone I know a thing or two about leaving, but this is a new side of the door. She's sneaking out while I'm still sleeping. Hate that it makes me want her more. And just for a moment, she's holding me closing. Sayin' she'll never let me go. Could I hear the sirens? The bugs are too rival's. Too many times being down and sword. She ain't gon' miss me when I'm gone. She ain't gonna think about me too long. This is every Friday night, there's another guy. She's laying up alone. She ain't gon' miss me till I'm dead. She's not in the boots with all my friends. To the Bible's drive, she can tell she wants. She ain't gon' miss me when I'm gone. She gon' miss me, miss me. She gon' miss me when I'm gone. She gone miss me when I'm gone. She gonna think I'm too long. Cause every Friday night, there's no god, she's waiting on the She ain't gonna miss me when I'm dead, stop in the boots with all my friends. To the bottles tried, she can tell the light she won't. But she ain't gonna miss me when I go. She ain't gonna miss me, miss me. She ain't gonna miss me when I go. She ain't gonna miss me, this me. But she ain't gonna miss me when I go. She ain't gonna miss me, this me, but she ain't gonna miss me when I go. She ain't gonna miss me when I go.
SPEAKER_17I know this ain't no soul should call. Get it off your mind. You heard what? Well, it ain't true. I was here most night. I got over you the day you left. Could it be somebody like they said what that I was crying? I haven't shared a tear in years that I spoke your name. Well, that's insane. I hardly noticed you know that I showed your picture to some stranger. Don't you think I got no prize? They've been here at home, face down on the ship, but I bet somebody lies. But if they were true, what would it matter to you? Would it change the way you feel? If the rumors were right, would you be here tonight to help this all heart here? Well, don't worry. It wasn't me, just someone whose wealth was turned into someone who looks or not like me, and loves someone like you. So forget the tears, I never tried, or I bet somebody say to tell you the truth.
SPEAKER_05It's as easy, as it seems to see through you, and with those dark eyes and expression, it's hard to miss the feet Cause you've been waiting for so long now that my feet are halfway out the door. I knew you she was me who was leaving Now you believe she's coming true Cause this is me and your still knew You tell me all the things that you gonna do Why don't you show me? Imagine if they found out what they don't know about me and you. We could spend this small town, spin it. Spend it like a fairest, we'll go around with it.
SPEAKER_19People talking about what it is, what it is. It is money now. Spend it, small spending, spend it. Get a car in my driveway. Me when you're hoodie. Not really wanna take much. To get everybody looking.
SPEAKER_05Let's crossin' the street, you grabbing my hand, make it too close, so you kiss me again.
SPEAKER_19But if you kiss me again, I can fit swing.
