Good morning everyone. Welcome to Costa Alabama Highway 98 Radio Broadcasting once again live from Gulf Shores, Alabama. I'm your host, Rick McCann, and this is a production of Blue Ran Media Group LLC. Today on the episode, of course, we've got a lot of great new music brought to you from Nashville, Tennessee. We've got the latest news, the latest enhanced weather, upcoming events, and so much more. So let's sit back, relax, and enjoy some of this great music right now on Coastal Alabama's Highway Ninety Eight Radio.

SPEAKER_04

I know what's way in on your mind, but you can be sure I know my part. You'll only cry those hand you and know a man. I'll never break your heart.

SPEAKER_08

I swear by the I'll be there. I swear by the shadow. I'll be there. I'll be able to repeat I'll give you everything I can.

SPEAKER_04

I'll build your dreams with peace to hang. We'll hang some memories. Won't have to ask you. No zest and pay.

SPEAKER_08

My love major law vive. Like the shadow by words you'll get to heart. I'll know you ever repeated my heart. I swear. I swear.

SPEAKER_17

I mean it takes a lot of work. Have you ever done it? Alrighty. In the middle of the beginning, we can enjoy it. Maybe fumble around and find something to eat. We don't have a whole lot in the studio. And I'll be back before you know it.

SPEAKER_08

Fould you at back to a different time. Put your letter up, sing it loud and loud. Before a little ounce. Just a wake, just double leg, squeeze the little stone. Just do a song. I love the lighters. I love it. I love the lighters.

SPEAKER_05

And you talk to an old friend. Right, wrong. I had to hear your voice again on written long. Protocol said to me as long I just wanted you to know. Sometimes I've all the time.

SPEAKER_08

I let your memory take control. And you didn't find my time.

SPEAKER_05

I turned up with the door. I just want to do it. I heard your line turned out well. You know it's really hard to tell. Now then what my thing and what might be I just want to know sometimes all the time. I had your dead last time. I don't know about it. I do all these don't cry.

SPEAKER_03

Struggle some to found the word to convince myself that you were gone. Where we go to find all explanations. And on my pain there came a revelation. Hearts will break, we cry, we grieve, we die, we go, but never leave. We linger in the lives of those we love. We're flesh and bone and beams of light, a body breaks, a soul takes flight, and faith is left to heal what tears can't touch. You're not gone just as a sight. You're here with me wherever you want to.

SPEAKER_01

Like the ones that cause Lyme disease, mice searching for food in the red bacteria that makes us air. Mosquitoes lay eggs in the hand in the water, and can they spread with my overs and cockroaches are drawing water in the home, leaving behind allergens that can trigger atom attacks?

SPEAKER_17

When they are injured in the line of duty. And certainly if they have other cried relief, uh you want to go with the theme of a police law for third home that was burnt down. That's the second time in the last year. And uh in situations like that, we're gonna be helping them out. We'll be telling you more about that. And um we also are gonna be uh kind of uh another little fight thing with the manager to refined to fire. Where firefires are out there for hours sometimes without food or cold or hot drink. And um we're gonna be flying that we'll be on three with them and making sure that they have rest and that they have uh you know fluid and food and things like that. Because I'll tell you what, uh I'm sure many of you never have been. Well we're gonna be telling you more about that as well. Again, contact helpdev at bluermedia.com if you'd like to get involved or donate once again. Like I said, we are a nonprofit. Contact us at helpdef at Bluram Media.com. SPEAKER_08

You want me to take me back once more?

SPEAKER_11

You say you need a helping hand. But let's watch one more Walks off play on this arm.

SPEAKER_18

If you think I'm gonna wait for you to settle down this one horse telling like the open range. If you want fast place, freedom boy better live. If you can follow the demons and you hold a bird to tip so many. If you want to steal my key like a little lonely desk, I don't see. If you can quit the saddle leaving Kick up if you boot for you can't do my heart. If you want to see my heart, take my face If you want to be slack out of the back of the gon'a love If you gonna love me Love me like me out loud you got another thing coming if you think I'm gonna wait for you to settle down this one horse telling like the open rain, and you're on the gold and no one.

Mobile Bay Patrol Service, public safety and law enforcement train with more than 30 years experience here along the Gulf Coast, protecting our people, our property, and our way of life. Give them a call at 251-264-2498. They offer mobile patrol services of churches, businesses, gated communities, condominiums, beach resorts, Yachton, and so much more. 251-264-2498. Call today, and you will feel better tonight. And once again this morning, we've got that extended weather forecast. We have been looking at this weather, uh, the extended weather, and we think we've got a pretty good handle on what's going to happen. Of course, we're sitting in the news and weathered uh office and the desk at the desk this morning, and uh we have really spent quite a bit of time trying to figure this thing out for the big weekend. So here's what we got. For the rest of today, we're gonna be hot. The high temperature for this Thursday, the second day of July, is about 90 degrees during the day. It's only going to cool down to about 78 degrees in the overnight. And for the rest of the day, it's gonna be partly cloudy. That just means, of course, partly sunny. And we're gonna be looking at uh the potential for a few sprinkles in some areas. We can't rule out maybe even the pop-up thunder boom boom, but it's not gonna be anything major. Uh it's not gonna last. We only have about a 20% chance of that happening for the rest of today. For tomorrow, Friday, the 3rd of July, it's gonna be mostly sunny. Believe it or not, it's gonna be even hotter than today on your Friday. It's gonna be 92 degrees. And of course, with the heat index and the field life, you're probably looking at about 94, 95, even. And that is really hot and muggy. Winds coming out of the east-southeast at about eight miles per hour. If we can even call that, right around 80 degrees in the overnight. As for sunshine, well, that's gonna be really prevail for the most of your day tomorrow, mostly sunny. But once again, we do have those chances of a few sprinkles or even a pop-up thunderstorm, about 15 to 20 percent on your Friday. Nothing really too rough. On Saturday, it's gonna be July 4th. Well, there was some question as to whether or not we were going to face some severe weather moving in, but it kind of is holding off. So for July 4th, it's gonna be mostly sunny and hot and humid. 90 91 degrees will be the expected high for Saturday, with the low dropping down to a while. Yeah, 80 degrees. Not so cool. But it's gonna be primarily sunny, very sunny. But we will have those pop up rain, maybe about 18 to 25 percent possible thunderstorm from you know very it could be in you know Baldwin County and not in Mobile, it could be along the Gulf Coast of Alabama and not in Mobile. We know we haven't lived here for quite many years, quite a few years, we know how that can happen. But all in all, it looks like things will kind of hold together and we'll have a great night to experience those fireworks. Sunday very much the same. Very hot and humid at about 89 degrees during the daytime. Wind coming out of the southwest at about 10 miles per hour, the overnight low, really not low at all, on Sunday, 80 for the overnight. But once again, we'll have mainly sunny skies with some rain chances later in the day. 19 to 25 percent. Nothing too serious, but we could hear some thunder booms along our area. Now, as we move into the new week, well that's gonna be completely different. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, the 6th, 7th, and 8th day of July, you can experience morning time thunderstorms, quite severe, actually. About a 50% chance Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of that happening, clearing up later in the day, sunshine will come out. The temperature on all three days, right around 89 degrees during the daytime, 80 in the overnight, wind coming out of the west-southwest all three days, about 12 to 15 miles per hour. As we get back toward the weekend, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, again, isolated thunderstorms, 90 degrees for all three days, 80 in the overnight, and once again, we've got about a 35 to 40 percent chance of thunderstorms, winds coming out of the west-southwest at about 12 to 15 miles per hour. On Monday, as we get back into the studio, we'll have the latest up-to-dated weather, but we are looking quite a ways out, and all the way through the 20th of July. That's a long time, about three weeks. We're looking at thunderstorms at least part of the day, not the entire day. Uh, sometimes scattered, sometimes isolated. We'll better know about this on Monday. But as for the weekend, enjoy, enjoy the sunny weather, enjoy the fireworks, the music, the cooking out. I mean, just enjoy being with your family, and that is your extended weather forecast from Coastal Alabama Radio.

Rip currents cause an estimated 100 deaths each year in the United States. In 2021, five of these deaths were on the Gulf Coast. Rip currents are the number one ruther-related killer at the beaches along the northern Gulf Coast. The number of rip current fatalities on these beaches is more than the fatalities of flooding, tornadoes, lightning, and tropical storms or hurricanes combined. Learn the facts. Before heading out to the beach, check current beach conditions and know what each flag means. Always swim near a lifeguard. Rip currents are narrow currents that flow away from the beach. If you notice you're being pulled away from the beach and are swimming and getting tired, you may be in a rip current. Think of it like a treadmill that you can't turn off. You want to step to the side of it. Don't swim against the current. Try to swim across it in a direction following the shoreline. Rip currents do not pull you under, but may take you as far out as a football field so people can tire quickly. The most important thing is to stay calm. If you can't escape the current, float or calmly tread water. Wave for help if you can. Rip current's strength eventually subsides and may even take you closer to shore. If you see someone caught in a rip current, call 911 or get a lifeguard and throw something that floats towards the victim. For more information, please visit www.visitalbeaches.com slash safety.

Driving downtown, top down, baking the round, checking out the bands on Doge Avenue. Yeah, life through chicken, but you nervous word. Me, I swung in a mist, and the next thing you know, I'm in a missing dreamin' on dreams, wishing on wishes, like you would be bad again. Dream, that's what I'm doing. Yeah, that's what I'm doing. Someone told me, after college, you ran off to babies. You married her own cowboy! Me, I've been a few places mostly, but once a twice, I'm still sucking out, but I'm doing all right. Yeah, hey girl. But if you ever come back around and speak, stop being speaking on pretty much. That's what I'm doing.

SPEAKER_10

I wake up and tear up before I put on the water song before we did. I wake up and tear up the fall.

SPEAKER_08

Here we go again, another last resort, so help me, Jesus. The silence, so quiet, it's filled my mind with everything we were that wasn't once again. I found a piece. I gave up on the student stuff, it had to fall and wait to fall to fix this kind of feeling and I feel I tried to back feel that dirt, ripping every time, but they always hit the ceiling C do the only thing that don't make me feel empty Pull it by around and write upon a whiskey No chance to read that when there's no one distance Tryna keep my head above the water on my sticky.

SPEAKER_17

CPR and saving a life? Well, guess what? Armor Tech is here on the Gulf Coast. Call them today at 251-264-2498, and they will bring the train to you wherever you're at. 251-264-2498. These guys are fantastic, they're paramedics, firefighters, they know their stuff. They'll also teach you ADB and the use of Narcan. 251 264. And you can do a minuteable pair and like having two fireworks shows in one. Now they want you to uh make sure that you are comfortable for bringing launchers, blankets, uh dinner in years past. They've had two trucks, I don't believe they will this year. Uh there's a restaurant right there on the pier that may be uh open. But the other thing they want to remind you is that this is an alcohol-free event, and personal fireworks are strictly prohibited and will be enforced by fair home police. Find yourself in a nice spot to get there early. There is limited handicap parking available near the fountain. This is gonna be another one of those great events. Now, if you're down in the poly area, well, O also has a great event happening. They have food, fun, music, and a spectacular firework show off the island there. So if you're down in that area, you can go over and join their big festivities as well. But any place you look here along the Gulf Coast, July 4th, we're having a party. We're celebrating July 4th and America's 250th birthday. We want everyone to do it safely, of course. Don't drink and drive. Enjoy yourself. There's so much happening here. It's hard to be every place at one time, so you'll probably just have to pick one.

SPEAKER_08

What if I never knew you? What if I never knew love?

SPEAKER_06

Search in my soul The only answers I find are the useless ones. I already know it's gonna fall And whatever you can never love.

SPEAKER_08

Just wanna think I'm feeling funny What's ever sure? Is this still no den? What if I never been born? I know that I wouldn't die.

SPEAKER_06

What if I never knew you? What if I never knew love?

SPEAKER_10

What if I never knew that?

SPEAKER_06

And your path is free to walk. That makes me tend to leave my sleeping band. Roll the pants dashed from your couch. And it's knowin' I'm not shackled by forgotten words and bones. And the egg stains that are dry upon some line. That keeps you on the back road by the rivers of my memory. That keeps you at the channel on my line.

SPEAKER_08

And Texas is a place I nearly love to be, but all my exes live in Texas. And that's why I hang my head in Tennessee. Rosanna's down in Texas camera. Wanted me to push her breath. Sweet Eileen's never lean. She forgot I hung a murder. And Alison and Garrett's stone somehow lost her sanity. And then pose who now lives in Temple's got the loud looking for me. All my exes live in Texas. And Texas is a place I didn't love to be, but all my exes live in Texas. And that's why I hang my head in Tennessee. Where I learned to swim. But it brings to mind another time where I wore my welcome thing. By transcendental meditation. I go there each night, but I always come back to myself. Long before daylight, all my exes live in Texas. And Texas is a place I didn't love to be, but all my exes live in Texas. And therefore I reside in Tennessee. Some folks think I'm mad. But I'm alive and well in Tennessee.

SPEAKER_08

So you picked your wrong poster in a cafe held in Phoenix. As for me and it looked, we still make certain and I want a horse train. She still asked about you. And the wind used to ride stones and you see winds with the sunlight on your head. But you know I just can't bear.

SPEAKER_04

And certainly she does not know.

SPEAKER_08

And we still need no day. There's something else. And we still send you sequence with the sunlight on your hair.

SPEAKER_00

Steve, he's rumbling, bubbling, stumbling all over the place. And oh, that can't be good. Look at that soppy key action. That's gonna draw a penalty. Drinking, driving, possible $1,500 fine, and one year in jail. Yeah, Steve, that was a good call by the ref. One bad decision totally changes the game. You know what just goes to show if you drink and you drive, nobody wins.

SPEAKER_17

And just like that, once again, we have to say Happy Trail. Happy Trail to you until we meet again here on the Airwave. And of course, uh the next time that we broadcast will be after the July 4th weekend celebration coming up in just another couple of days.
