SPEAKER_10Eighteen glory bound left and getting a tie asked Big Dream town. Rolling down the dusty road in my steady phone. Did I just feel that way again?
SPEAKER_05We get the lateral. You can be new to help you have to get a blue random media down. You can report the news.
SPEAKER_10And when you whisper my name, I hear anything. But whipped wheels and freight train. Ain't straight in my heart.
SPEAKER_03Trigger those echoes in the business. Used to hit me so hard. But by my side in peaceful dreams. Moonline on your face.
SPEAKER_10And sleep slave. I'm whipping whales and freight train. So waking me back.
SPEAKER_03I hate whipper wheels and freight trains.
SPEAKER_02And all this time's just flying by with midnight breath and drunk mistakes. I'll get over you someday. When the sun sets in the east and goes around. When the world don't turn in the summer sky. When the stars don't go in hell's eyes cold, and time is out to give open. It's not like I lose and sleep, you're honestly. When the world don't turn in the summer sky. And Johnny don't love June. And my heart don't stop when you walk in. That's when I get by feeling.
SPEAKER_08She ain't gonna be all right. Cause I could tell she'd be going through a living hell and die. I wouldn't be there by her side. And Lord, I felt so bad as I sat and watched her cry. And thinking how I was moving on, and she was barely getting by. Look at what I've done to her. Look at how I made her feel. I gave back her heart the broken part. She got the wrong end of the deal. And look at what it's done to me. You gotta know it tears me up. I give it everything I had, and Lord, it just wasn't enough. Hurtin' her like this seems so wrong. Yeah, look at what I've done to her. Now she's alone. I saw her out last night, and she was having a good time. That girl, it looks like she's doing fine. But then I saw a man walk up and take her by the hand and die. Oh god, I almost died. And then it hit me. She didn't really need me. I just sat there for a while. Until I finally smiled. You look at what I've done to her. And look at how I made her feel. She's found somebody new. And look who took the time to heal. And look at what it's done to me. Gotta know it tears me up. To have walked away from the love we made and just leave it in a cloud of dust. And now it's got me thinking, maybe I was wrong. After all the things I've done to her. Now she struck. She said it's good to see her. But hey, I gotta go. Yeah, look at what I've done to her. Look at how I made her feel. She stand in tall, she's got it all. Got the world at her heels. And look at what it's done to me. You look at how it makes me hurt. If I can go back now, I swear somehow I'd find a way to make it work. Ain't life funny. Now I'm the one alone. Yeah, look at what I've done to me. She's gone!
SPEAKER_05Broadcasting live from the beautiful Gulf Coast of Alabama, it's Highway 98. We've got your favorite new hits, some of those good old hits. Indie music, gospel, bluegrass, and so much more. Here on Highway 98.
SPEAKER_00Rip currents cause an estimated 100 deaths each year in the United States. In 2021, five of these deaths were on the Gulf Coast. Rip currents are the number one ruther-related killer at the beaches along the northern Gulf Coast. The number of rip current fatalities on these beaches is more than the fatalities of flooding, tornadoes, lightning, and tropical storms or hurricanes combined. Learn the facts. Before heading out to the beach, check current beach conditions and know what each flag means. Always swim near a lifeguard. Rip currents are narrow currents that flow away from the beach. If you notice you're being pulled away from the beach and are swimming and getting tired, you may be in a rip current. Think of it like a treadmill that you can't turn off. You want to step to the side of it. Don't swim against the current. Try to swim across it in a direction following the shoreline. Rip currents do not pull you under, but may take you as far out as a football field so people can tire quickly. The most important thing is to stay calm. If you can't escape the current, float or calmly tread water. Wave for help if you can. Rip current strength eventually subsides and may even take you closer to shore. If you see someone caught in a rip current, call 911 or get a lifeguard and throw something that floats towards the victim. For more information, please visit www.visitalbeaches.com slash safety.
SPEAKER_05A new nature reserve is being built right now in fully near Bon Secure. Have you heard about this? It's called the Andrew Jones Wetland Reserve, a 95-acre thing that will be a resident and there's another place to explore, relax, and enjoy the outdoors. This project is named after Andy Jones. He was a former revolver engineer. And he didn't project. Water filters it through, and that's a good thing. And also, you know what else it does? It has a litter boom on the river to collect debris that will make its way into the water if it wasn't collected. So there's a multifold reason for this project, but it sounds like a good deal to me, especially if you just want another place to go for a little walk or sit around, maybe read a book and join nature.
SPEAKER_10They came in thinking top daughter, that old cotton crop farmer, they knocked on his screen door, and he said, Lord, what you need, boys, and they said, No, all the others went and cast out. They got the subdivision all mapped out. It'll sit right here on this land, and you could leave town a rich man, and he said, Boys, whatever you're offering, it won't be enough. Cause I got little girl that used to swing right there. I still see her peepo in her brown hair. She's in the big city, but she still comes home. What's she gonna do if she comes back and we're gone? Over there under that wide old tree. Beneath the cross is where my best body's buried. Hunting seasons run his strong. Keep your money, cause man can't leave his dog. And over there's where I got down on one knee. You can't buy that kind of dirty. One man smiled and he kinda looked away. The other said, Before we go, I gotta know one thing. Between the droughts and the floods through all the years, what in the world got you through? How the hell'd you get here to say it? Little girl that you used to swing right there. Still see her people in her brown hair. Making ever little worry. All them hungry seasons, freezing in the jungle. In him, double barrel and the two stroke. I got down here. You can't lie to dirty. And you hold on to Just like that. Little girl used to swing her out there. Still see her pink bow and her brown hair. She's in the big city now, but she still calls home. She's coming back next week, and man, it's been too long. Over there, under that wild old tree. The sound that crumbles where my best buddy's buried. Lays a puppy posted up in the street. That woman never could turn away a street. I guess that's why she said yes. When I got down on me. Why the hell would I ever leave? You came by that kind of dirt. Two, three, four. He's a friend.

SPEAKER_10Walk that grill, don't forget. Stay with the earth, no regret.
SPEAKER_09Walk that grill that's knowing me. Walk that grill, let me love me. The world keeps turning. We're losing our way. Chasing all the wrong things. Forget how to pray. So let's lay down our fears. Take a look at the sky. With hope in our hearts. We'll learn to fly. Walk that ground, don't forget. Walk that ground, that's all we need.

SPEAKER_10And a late night boss. More than just a pair of tight jeans. Sittin' in your car. She's more than a last call, kiss, or a one-night stand. You weren't the first to hold her hand. She's somebody's daughter. She's somebody's everything. She's somebody's little girl, even if she's grown up and moved away. She's somebody's whore. She's somebody's baby. SPEAKER_05And of course, this morning, uh, once again I'm sitting over at our news and weather desk here at the Blue Ram Media Studio off Shores, Alabama. And once again, as every time we broadcast, I've got the latest, the most latest, I should say, updated weather forecast for you, extended weather forecast as we are tracking the weather like we always do with all the technology that we have available to us. And well you can see by now it's bright and sunny. Yeah, we haven't had much rain in the last few days, but I think that's gonna be changing here. Coming up pretty soon, but for the rest of the day, the high would be 87 degrees. You're a low overnight at 75 with only a flight. 13% chance of rain sometime, somewhere in our area today, but it's not gonna be much. We're coming out of the fountain nine miles per hour. Friday is going to be 87 degrees, just like it is today. We're gonna have a little bit more of the intervals of clouds and sunshine mixing in a straight thunderstorm tomorrow can't be rolled out. We are looking at that possibility probably later in the day. About a 20% chance of rain on your Friday. Wind coming out of the southwest at about 10 miles per hour. Now the overnight's looking nice. Probably even could throw up a window or two. 77 on that Friday overnight. But once again, maybe with my 10 to 13% chance of a freaker little shower, uh, depending on where you live. And for your weekend, well, it's gonna be a mixed bag. We're gonna have 88 on Saturday and 88 on Sunday, with a little overnight at 79. So that's pretty warm. You're probably gonna have the AC kicking up there. Um we're looking at about a 20% chance of rain for both days. Nothing too similar. Although you might see a shower, maybe even a strange thunderstorm on Sunday. About a 38% chance, probably Sunday, and probably about uh we're looking at about 22% overall for uh Saturday, but you know that's not too bad. You're gonna get some sun rays in there, but uh we can expect it here along the Gulf Coast. Monday is when those storms start to heat up. Monday the high will be 86 degrees on the 15th. And it's gonna have some rain showers, but the sun will also be shining. However, the percentage of the chance is much higher up to 58% on Monday. And the south southwest winds will be blowing at about 13th. We can also see a straight thunderstorm. Monday night, we're definitely gonna have some scattered thunderstorms moving in throughout the evening and any overnight. Probably a 70 uh 72% chance of rain, maybe a bit higher for your Monday night. Southwest wind blowing 11 to 15 miles per hour. At this point, it doesn't look like a major storm for Thunder or Monday, but there's gonna be definitely some rain and thunderstorms now. For Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Thursday, Monday the 21st, and all the way to Monday the 22nd. Those isolated and scattered thunderstorms cannot be rolled out. So Tuesday the 15th, and it'll be 82 thunderstorms and 80% chance of those. We're gonna have some wind casting up to 18 miles per hour. Wednesday the 17th, it's gonna be 83 with the overnight 77 again during the daytime and into the overnight scattered thunderstorm daytime. We're gonna see some sunshine. Probably not much, but some. And the probability of rain both during the day on Wednesday and the overnight about 57%. Thursday, we can't do much with better. Thunderstorms scattered throughout the day and evening Thursday the 18th. Likelihood 85 will be your high 79 will be the overnight. And of course, Friday 30. Sunday more thunderstorms. Look at all the technology we have.
SPEAKER_07If you got a floorboard that needs to feed, a voice is calling shotgun, a hand right there to reach, across the center console, and hold on to your needle, no girl. But you gotta stretch your beach, somewhere in Carolina, the needs think it's toast, how big it's I just want the whole world in the side. All the time I'm no good. I'm not gonna die. I know that's the end of the street, full of crazy things.
SPEAKER_10Flat on tight up, mossy oak hat, cold beer bottled on, peel the level off it. It takes a dirt a road to make a girl like that. She's certified. County line. Everybody in here does do. But it's a river, just a roll it. Step and line. One, two, one, two. Don't go, take all it. It's too nose to that. It's the country boy tonight. Alright, wild turns on, she hears Marina Delrayon. It's the goin', she's dippin' by one. Talk 42 tattooed on her real page. Saw it dancing in the dark last night. She turned five. Everybody in here does body just die. Got a river little move from last night on my mind. Count in line. Everybody in it does do. Body like the river, just a rolling. Top foot step in line. One, two, one, two. Got this country for tonight. Alright.
SPEAKER_03Bringing you all the new hits straight from Nashville. And those good old ones. We still got hanging around. Right here on coastal Alabama. All new Highway 98 Radio. Yeah, the boys around here don't listen to the Beatles run on both Cersei juice boxes.
SPEAKER_05Mobile County Sheriff's Office has arrested a child sex offender. After getting some information, intel from uh other agencies, they began an investigation. And they have arrested uh William Dawson Castle on five charges of possession of child pornography. They got several uh tips, and uh you'll be able to hear the radios in the background. But they got several tips and they were able to make that arrest successfully. An armed road rage led to an arrest in Mobile. Police said that they have arrested a man after the incident in the 6,000 block of Airport Boulevard just after 10.15 p.m. Saturday. They were called there for an assault. Jericho Elementary 3 of Mount Vernon's been charged. And right now a second-degree assault two counts are menacing after pointing a gun at several people. And police say that investigation is continuing. At least seven people were injured. That happened on I-10 in the Loxley area on Tuesday night. It was westbound, a vehicle rolled over, uh, several people were trapped, two were transported to trauma centers by medical centers, and uh also six others rushed by ground transport that is currently under investigation. A small fire broke out at the Japanese AMC Theater, uh, right there off US 90. Authorities were called in into one, two, three, truck, four. Uh several car ranges from uh Spanish Four. And uh they had to close down the movie theater, but I believe that's all been taken care of. And on the head of the collision has killed one person, and police are investigating this. This happened in uh Washington County Johnson was fatally uh getting injured in the collision, and police said that they are still investigating. Also, this week in the news, a female pedestrian Dynamobile the city's latest was held out of fatality. They said she was a pedestrian that was struck by. We don't know if you were any will.
SPEAKER_10He signs to blue to fly. The midnight train is whining low. I'm so loansome I could cry. I've never seen a night so long when time goes crawling by the mang just went behind the clouds to hide its face and crying. Did you live the sea robin wheat when leaves began to die? Like me's lost the will to live. I'm solo some might cry. And I said, Then an old man sat down beside me and looked me in the eye. He said, So I know what you're going to You ought to get down on your knees and thank your loving stuff that you got someone to go home to. You don't know about holding.
SPEAKER_05You don't know about your stone.
SPEAKER_10So I brought these pretty flowers, hoping you would understand. Sometimes a man is such a fool. Those golden words you went to From the heart of that woman showed me I am nothing without you. Got a few new songs to play before the night shuts down. If you feel it real, my country.
SPEAKER_05And uh just like uh the previous following, it wasn't supposed to come here, but it did land here anyway. And that's gonna be on Thursday, June the 25th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Erie Myers Center. SPEAKER_10Nobody in his right mind would have left her, and that was her favorite song. She sang along every time it came on. First time we danced was to Marina Del Rey. And I fell right there and then I didn't want that song to end. Baby blue was the color of her eyes. I can still see him in my life. Probably will for the rest of my life. Damn, it's bad. The other day, right out of the blue players got you came on into my trust. I couldn't turn it off fast enough. That was her favorite song. She sang along every time it came home.
SPEAKER_02You had one house, one backyard, one Christmas tree. You didn't sleep a time, didn't want to walk like me. When I let your mind, I met your dad damage called sea day. Love can less, cause I never knew till I was loved by you. You could have seen too much work on the missing pieces. Someone was gonna leave. Cause I come from living, could have seen my past, took a look at my baggage and had your heart and I come from a broken one.
SPEAKER_10She has my eyes and has your nose.
SPEAKER_02And I got from a broken one. The girl you saw was worth it. You could have seen too much work. Oh Miss Dead Pitts don't want to be from a living.
SPEAKER_05I'll tell you what, time certainly does go by fast, but we packed a lot of things, a lot of great music and information in this program. We try to do that, you know, every episode. Remember, you can contact Helpdesk at BluRanMedia.com and give us a tip or a heads up of what you want to hear. Maybe how we can improve the show and make it more uh community friendly, I would say, I guess. But remember, no matter where you're driving in the meantime, whether it's the interesting highway to the highway, how do you road? It doesn't matter. If you see the light, you gotta pull it to the right. We are growing as a radio show and as a community, and uh thank you for being part of it. Please pass on the info to your friends, your family, your neighbors, coworkers, whoever might listen, because uh we'd appreciate it, and of course it'll help them too to know what's happening in the community. We are very community oriented. Until the next time, y'all stay safe, be blessed. I'll be back on the radio before you know it.
