Like a pocket knife, a card in an old tree. Your word and your name means everything. Around here we speak blue, cloud, blue, my blue red, six days of work, one day of rest, boom, ground, prayers in the air on day. We're out sitting, we're all in both, try to stay afloat. One day of rest, blue, small rounds daily.

SPEAKER_05Cause I think I need to remind you. The jokes in on my skin feels just like heaven to me. You look like an angel tonight. Should I wanna slip on those wings? I want you. Worse way.
SPEAKER_04My hands are needing your hips. Won't the first day whiskey roll for your lips? So goes on the wind.
SPEAKER_05Baby, I need you to back. Let's see how much we can make. I want you in the worst way.
unknownI want you in the worst way.
SPEAKER_06I want you in the worst way. My hands need in your hips on the first taste.
SPEAKER_04To be whiskey right over your lips. So close all the winds, lock all the doors, put away in the thing, it'll break.
SPEAKER_05Baby, I need you to know. Let's see how much low we can make. I want you and the worst.
unknownI want you to handle words.
SPEAKER_14But I kept on trying to make up with you. You've given me the same household. No matter how I try to fix it with you.
SPEAKER_03But you wouldn't let it go.
SPEAKER_04I'll admit that I'm wrong, but you won't let me know where I stand away with yourself. I have to let you go. Why don't you just heat? Me out.
unknownWhy don't you just keep me out?
SPEAKER_14If I could just explain, we can lose all this pain.
SPEAKER_03All I have to say is this thing again.
SPEAKER_04Why don't you just keep me out?
SPEAKER_14I was tired of thinking how we could talk.
SPEAKER_04Going over all the words in my mind.
SPEAKER_14It was not good for my own soul. So I had to leave it all behind. I had to do what was right. I'll admit that I won't, but you won't let me know. I stand away, so I have to let you go.
SPEAKER_04Why don't you just heave? Why don't you just keep me out?
SPEAKER_03If I could just explain, we can lose all this pain.
SPEAKER_04All I have to say is Why don't you just Why don't you just give me time try and make something wrong? If you just give me that Why don't you just Why don't you just If I could just explain we could lose all this pain? All I have to say is this ain't no game. Why don't you just keep me?

SPEAKER_03Well the night he rides in Tinder. Said we could not go together. Said he had a handful of saddle fucking wrong. And why would I wanna tag along the road? Ain't no place to ride my songs. He'll be back before I even know he's gone. But for my first cup of coffee, he wasn't well down the highway. Don't get the water, don't stop the big Lily look, take my eyes off the bathroom. Let me make it more drink it all. Said we could not go together. Said he had a handful of saddle bucking, bro.
SPEAKER_04And if we could see right through me, my broken heart still shows. I can't move on and say goodbye. Prime standing in wake. I hang my head and start to cry, remembering yesterday. I keep your picture by my bed, your smile and my rose. I'm still away you left me. Oh million tears ago. Back when we were lovers, back when we were friends before you let you with you never fail. I only I guess that's how it goes. Before you take you with you never I can stand how it goes. I'm still away. I can stand how it goes. I'm still away you left me. A million tears ago.
SPEAKER_09Your local news and seven-day forecast coming up. Moments away.
SPEAKER_07Rip currents cause an estimated 100 deaths each year in the United States. In 2021, five of these deaths were on the Gulf Coast. Rip currents are the number one rudder-related killer at the beaches along the northern Gulf Coast. The number of rip current fatalities on these beaches is more than the fatalities of flooding, tornadoes, lightning, and tropical storms or hurricanes combined. Learn the facts. Before heading out to the beach, check current beach conditions and know what each flag means. Always swim near a lifeguard. Rip currents are narrow currents that flow away from the beach. If you notice you're being pulled away from the beach and are swimming and getting tired, you may be in a rip current. Think of it like a treadmill that you can't turn off. You want to step to the side of it. Don't swim against the current. Try to swim across it in a direction following the shoreline. Rip currents do not pull you under, but may take you as far out as a football field so people can tire quickly. The most important thing is to stay calm. If you can't escape the current, float or calmly tread water. Wave for help if you can. Rip current's strength eventually subsides and may even take you closer to shore. If you see someone caught in a rip current, call 911 or get a lifeguard and throw something that floats towards the victim. For more information, please visit www.visit albeaches.com slash safety.

SPEAKER_04Come on, DJ, play me on down the road. I ain't seen a man yet where I don't miss you. I've been through a town and maybe I wanna slow down. Come on, county line. Tell me I get close. Come back, folks line. I'm gonna look, I'm making up for all my gone. Soon as I get home. Soon as I get home. I can really make a man wanna make a time. I got 30 more mouths left to read aloud. Two more stuff sight before you mind. We believe that come back on to that. Within a look, I'll be pulling up before you miss the road and stall, I'm beginning a Soon as I get Soon as I get fast enough. Baby, just know soon enough. Me and you be tangled up and I think I miss you. Come here, baby, let me kiss you. Baby, leave back, come back, go to any look, I'm gonna pull it up before you support this time. Soon as I get home. Soon as I get home. American spirit hanging out of his mouth. Just like our dad. On it that hell out west, and where the wild things are. He'd call me up every couple weeks from South California. Talk about the desert and the Joshua tree. Settle in the brother in all the Now where the wild thing drawn, so night, take nine, yeah. Never sweet when the sky goes down. I call my brother from the back of that plane. Singing out made We started drinking on the strip and LA It got crazy. We very the winds go start.
SPEAKER_14Easy gets the job done. Ain't a liquor quitting. I'm a sucker, fool, wrangler, man. Work day warning, cowlift standing on four by four, pulling up in the drive to hang it up for the night. When it takes the cowboy off, the rough goes smooth. When a head in the boots get lost, I lose my mind. Then roll to your eyes, rope in me, yeah, sweeping me up like a tumble with a wind. That west takes it strong, looks good all day long, but nothing really turns me on. Like when he takes the cowboy off. Really gets my heart racing. To get my hands on him Second he walks in. Cause hell I'm done waiting. For when he takes the cowboy out. The rough goes to the head and the boots get lost. I lose my life. Then roll the Us, roping me in, sweeping me up like a tumble with a wind. That was takes you strong. Looks good all day long, but nothing really turns me on. Like when it takes the cowboy I'm a sucker for an man. Work day warned, careless hands in a four by four, pulling up in the drive. To hang it up for the night. Then rolling your eyes, open me, sweeping me up like a tumble with a wind. OS takes it strong. It's good all day long, but nothing really turns me on. Like when it takes a cowboy.
SPEAKER_09As always, I have the extended weather forecast for you, and I want to keep you safe. Because for the next 14 days, we're gonna have a mixed bag. If you listen to the show regularly, then you know I use that phrase quite often, but it's for real. It means it's gonna be a mixed bag. So for the rest of the day, partly cloudy sun will be seen in many parts of our neck of the woods, but also some clouds. 25% chance of rain for the rest of the day. Winds coming out of the southeast at 12 miles per hour. The overnight low is gonna be about 73, but we do have some scattered thunderstorms moving in. Winds will prevail from the south-southeast overnight at 9 miles per hour. Chances of rain all the way up now to 55%. So pay attention if you work overnight or you leave for work early in the morning, like many of my uh friends do, about 4 a.m., 5 a.m. And uh, you know, you could run into some of these storms. Friday will be scattered thunderstorms, 48% chance of rain, 79 will be the high, 74 will be the low in the overnight, winds blowing 13 miles per hour from the south-southeast. And these scattered thunderstorms are gonna linger. Now it could you know be boom, boom, boom, some rain, then the sun, and boom, boom, boom, some more rain and thunder, and that's how it works here along the Gulf Coast. For Saturday, we're gonna see highs around 81, Sunday 81, Monday, 81, Tuesday, 81, Wednesday 81, Thursday 81, and Friday 81 as a high. Now, Sunday we're gonna have more scattered thunderstorms. We're gonna have some sunshine somewhere along the way, but once again, thunderstorms scattered around our area. 48% possibility of that happening. Monday evening, thunderstorm, sunshine during the day, 81 is a high, 73 is a low, about a 53% chance of thunderstorms, winds coming out of the south-southeast and about 15 miles per hour. Tuesday and Wednesday, exactly the same, scattered, mainly in the morning thunderstorms for Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday, but they could remain later in the day. As we all know, thunderstorms can move through our area several times in a 24-hour period. The high Wednesday and Thursday, 81, the low, 73. Wind's gonna be slightly uh I would say calm, eight to nine miles an hour. That's just a little breeze. Friday, unfortunately, that thunderstorm problem continues. The high will be 82 degrees, 72 in the overnight, but it won't be thunderstorms all day. They'll be scattered. Maybe, maybe not might catch a couple of thunderstorms by the Gulf Shores. Shiny and bright. You know, that's the way it works. 44% chance of thunderstorms on Friday. Now, once again, for the weekend, we can't rule out isolated thunderstorms. Saturday the 30th, Sunday the 31st, Monday the first. No, no, no. We cannot rule out thunderstorms for that either. 83 will be high for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. 73 in the overnight, but isolated thunderstorms prevail all the way into next week, and those chances begin to decrease around Tuesday, but they don't go away, they continue all the way through the next 10-day period, which we're gonna have all of that updated for you on Monday show. But the bottom line here is even though it's Memorial Day and people are gonna be hitting the water and boating and you know, swimming and having picnics and cookouts, just be aware, you may have to run indoors for a while before you can come back out. That you're late extended most accurate weather on Coastal Alabama Radio. Are you hiring are you looking for workers? Well, right now you can advertise free on Coastal Alabama Radio. But go inspirate his own tape. But teaching me a fuck a hard word.

SPEAKER_13I saw it in her eyes when I was saying goodbye, that girl. She ain't gonna be alright. Cause I could tell she'd be going through a living hell and die. I wouldn't be there by her side. And Lord, I felt so bad as I sat and watched her cry. Thinking how I was moving on. And she was barely getting by. Look at what I've done to her. Look at how I made her feel. I gave back her heart, the broken part, she got the wrong end of the deal. And look at what it's done to me. You gotta know it tears me up. I gave it everything I had, and Lord, it just wasn't enough. Hurting her like this seems so wrong. Yeah, look at what I've done to her. Now she's alone. I saw her out last night. She was having a good time. That girl. It looks like she's doing fine. But then I saw a man walk up and take her by the hand and die. Oh god, I almost died. And then it hit me. She didn't really need me. I just sat there for a while. Until I finally smiled. And look at what I've done to her. Look at how I made her feel. And look, look at time to feel. And look at what it's done to me. I don't know it tears me up. Walked away from the love we made. Just beat it in a cloud of thug. Now it's got me thinking. Maybe I was wrong. After all the things I've done to her. But hey, I gotta go. Yeah, look at what I've done to her. Look at how I made her feel. She's got it all. The world better he's look at what it's done to me. Yeah, look at how it makes me hurt. If I can go back now, I swear somehow I find a way to make it work. Ain't life funny. Now I'm the one alone. Yeah, look at what I've done to me.
SPEAKER_04All right, the light. Resting up for long, long enough when the sun goes down. We'll be moving when the sun goes down. Feelin' alright when the sun breaks down. Over the water. Everything gets hotter when the sun goes down. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02All day long, just take it easy. Layin' in the hammock where it's nice and breezy. Sleepin' the hawk the night before. Cause when the sun goes down, we'll be back for more when the sun goes down.
SPEAKER_04We'll be grooving when the sun goes down.
SPEAKER_02Feelin' all right when the sun breaks down over the water.
SPEAKER_13Everything gets hotter when the sun goes down with this old guitar in my dark sunglasses.
SPEAKER_02This weaken doctrine is smooth as my lattice. Nothing to do.
SPEAKER_04Breathe all day till the big moon rises and it's time to play when the sun goes down. We'll be grooving when the sun goes down. Feeling all right when the sun takes down. Over the water. Everything gets hotter when the stun goes down. We'll be grooving when the stun goes down. Feeling all the right when the stun takes down. Over the water. Everything gets hotter when the stun goes down.
SPEAKER_05When you love someone, really love someone. To be the father of your child, what you wouldn't do. Never love again, it's true. With that. Maybe it's just the sound of your voice when you say hello. I just know when you close your eyes. When I hold you close, there are so many reasons.
SPEAKER_04Sometimes I move too hair.
SPEAKER_05This girl, I just can't believe I found the person I've searched for. Seems like fraternity. Well I see my future and died.
SPEAKER_09Broadcasting live from the beautiful Gulf Coast of Alabama, it's Highway 98. We've got your favorite new hits, some of those good old hits, Indie Music, gospel, bluegrass, and so much more here on Highway 98. This morning in the uh breaking news department, a missing Alabama woman was found dead in a trash bag along the interstate. Authorities in Green County said the woman went missing on May the 8th and hadn't been seen. The police began investigating, and they were able to track her phone, uh, and then it kind of uh went to bed. Authorities said eventually Karen Dean Hollow 23, who vanished from Northport, was found along interstate 20 and 59 by a relative, who also tracked the phone, and they went right to the location. She was in a uh trash bag, if you can believe it, thrown along the side of the road like a trash. Now the one who was with her on camera was investigated. Randall in 1944 has been charged only with abuse of the course because he uh suspected of carrying her out of the resident. Authorities are still investigating, and he may face other more serious charges right now. He's only been charged with the story. Not only at the Gulf Coast, but also like the river and the backyard, you're drowning to continue to run along the Gulf Coast. And we were who just retired from the Coast Guard, and the former lifeguard, so people need to really think about safety. Whether you're swimming or voting, it is very important. Safety remainers, the weather aware, the weather control, and you're gonna see this weekend because we are expecting for most of the weekend and into the next week. We love the water, we love the coast, we love living where we're living for that weekend. Make sure you are in the wheel of the vessel that you have all the number three months. Anyway, you live in the area you know. And according to the utility company, seventeen hundred and forty-one people lost early uh yesterday morning, and uh they recorded it within a few hours. According to um the utility company, they're not sure exactly what called the house, but they did get a return in a timely manner. A woman was drunk and killed by an track train that happened in urban. You may have heard about this and happened Monday. And she was trying to get up as the train approach, unfortunately, she didn't make it. Authorities say that they are still investigating this, but uh at this time they believe that it was just a situation where the woman was responsible. According to uh authorities, she was taken to the house, but she was still alive. They couldn't really uh determine whether or not you were guilty or not. The prisoner died in one of the jail cells while he was incarcerated. The Mobile County Service Department says that they uh have had an autopsy, but they haven't determined the true outcome. And uh we'll let you know if any other information comes out from that. Remember, if you see news happening at any place, anytime, you can contact us newsdesk at bluermedia.com.
SPEAKER_06Never knew my own man's truck could even run like that. Shouldn't know better than take that curves over. There was this girl.
SPEAKER_14Sometimes God just comes and goes, but I really only do it. Remember the when you drop it.
SPEAKER_09Give them a call at 251-264-2498. They offer mobile patrol services of churches, businesses, clubs, gated communities, condominiums, beach resorts, yacht clubs, and so much more. 251-264-2498. Call today and you will see better tonight. It must be that time again when the kiddos are about to get out of school. Why do I say that? Well, once again, golf shit. Shores is sponsoring S'mores on the Shore. The event will take place May 21st from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. This semi-annual event kind of closes out the school year, and it's a great time to just have family fun, bring the family together, campfires, music, s'mores, and so much more will be the scene as the city of Golf Shores hosts this event once again May 21st. The fun is going to begin at 6 p.m. and will take place once again at Golf Place. You know where that is, right over there at 101 Golf Shores Parkway. The family friendly event will include a variety of free items and activities, including some more packets, a live DJ, a balloon artist, face painting. Guess what else is gonna be there? Delicious local fresh watermelon! That's right, provided by our friends from Wheeler's Realty. I'll tell you what, we're also gonna have hot dog trucks, other local vendors, people, and maybe some animals from the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo might be dropping by. And so much more. You can't let this slip away. If you need more information, call 251-968-1171. Again, this is a family favorite semi-annual, May the 21st. Don't miss it. Well, well, well, once again, I think that's gonna do it for us on this Thursday. The 21st of May. And I probably won't be talking with you until Monday morning. That is our next broadcast. And uh by then, of course, that's gonna be a holiday. We're still gonna be broadcasting live, but it's gonna be Memorial Day, and of course, big things happening here along the Gulf Coast the entire weekend. In fact, some folks are down for a week, week-long vacation, so I'm sure that they will be having a lot of fun while people like you and me will probably be working at least part of the holiday, but that's just the way that it goes. Remember, no matter where you are, if you're driving a car, a boat, it doesn't really matter. If you're going down the interstate, it doesn't really matter. If you're on the county road, the country road, the back road, whatever, the dirt road. You gotta drive safely. Don't drink and drive. Don't speed. Don't be one of those inattentive drivers. Let's keep our hands on the wheel and get to where we're going safely. And remember, we want our first responders to get to wherever they are going safely as well. So remember, when you see, you know, something coming up behind you, you hear sirens, you see blue or red lights, or a combination thereof, you gotta pull to the right. Let's get all of our first responders safe to wherever they're going because they do a big job, and we want them to be very, very safe. We want you to be safe as well, so I hope that you enjoy this Memorial Day weekend. Until the next time, stay safe, be blessed, and we'll see you back here on the radio.
