SPEAKER_07Found something I can't explain. He ain't the type you picture for me. Driving old Chevy lives wild and free.
SPEAKER_20But I ain't never felt this way. Yeah, I know the talk will spread like spy.
SPEAKER_14But I can't fight this pool, this design I'm not somebody got eyes. Last like doing both me to his eye. But I can't stop tasting what I find.
SPEAKER_13Yeah, I'm chasing backwards in blue skies now.
SPEAKER_07Last Friday we watched the stars on the ridge. Shared a blanket, kissed by the wooden bridge. Sure ain't the life I was raised to choose. But here's the world feels like it's meant for two. Every mouth feels like breaking shape. Every laugh watches out the head.
SPEAKER_14I meant for body. He's got wild eyes. That's why I do it.
SPEAKER_13Yeah, I'm tasting that blue. And blue skies now.
SPEAKER_14But he sees me for who I am. Not just the world, it's a small town oath. We call on more than a bye-bye toast.
SPEAKER_13If it's wrong to feel it's free, then maybe wrong is where I need to be.

SPEAKER_06Last night we brought the children by visit their grandpa and explained to your truth art. While we were there, their grandma took out some old photographs, and he sure looked a lot like me back then. I'm seeing my father in me. I guess that's how it's meant to be, and I find more more like him each day. I noticed I walk the way he walks, I noticed I talk the way he talks, started singing my father beyond I took my wife for a walk down that older road where my dad took my mom so many times And we found time mention things ever had before And we shared some thoughts about them with the life Yeah, I'm seeing my father and me I guess the time's meant to be And I find more and more like him each day I noticed I walk the way he walked I noticed I talk the way he talked Start to see my father Now look in back and recall times we disagree When I could not take him home of his old fashioned way And the more I tried to prove him wrong more I proved right Now I know I'm each did I prove that day I'm seeing my father in me Yes the time's been big and find more and more like it each day I noticed I walk the way he walks I noticed I talk the way he talks starting to see my father me and I'm happy to see my father me.
SPEAKER_01When we're responding to emergency runs, we need everybody's help to get there as fast as we can. So when you see the lights, move to the right.
SPEAKER_23It has come to town numerous times. I think it took a break for a couple years, and now it's back. This is really an attraction that many people love. Um and it's a great place to just sit around uh enjoying the beach and uh good stuff. I haven't attended in myself, I might do it. Again, that's gonna be the um beach volleyball. It's Highway Ninety-eight.
SPEAKER_15We got your favorite new hits, some of those good old hits, Indie music, gospel, bluegrass, and so much more here on Highway 98 Staring at the window of this empty house, miles a dry ground. I swear it's been nothing but months of the burning sun, no signs alive now. This wedding used to fit like a glove back when love was a while when this hotel cave is taking me to the storm that I made desert. Every drop on my skin male breaking out my senses. There ain't no damn shape.
SPEAKER_14My body begging to be baptized today. So fill me up and dictate your breath before it out.
SPEAKER_15Every time the thunder rose brings me to my knees, like a sweet prayer. Hits me like a holy ghost taking over my soul coming, drown me dead.
SPEAKER_14Every drop on my skin nails, and I'm waking up my senses. There ain't no damn shame.
SPEAKER_15Even if it's a wrong baby, bring it on. Y'all need my brush, I've been missing with my eye, begging to be baptized today.
SPEAKER_14So feel me that up with the touch, with the breath, for she's legged with the bed to the free It's sweaty big It used to fit like a blow back when love was a while But the toe tell Kiss my baby Take away to the only heaven I'll ever see everything dry on my skin bounce breaking up the stances, very no doubt I can strike to the break less guy, even if it's wrong, baby break it up.
SPEAKER_15Shall the message begin to be baptized today? So for me to let you touch with your breath before it out, just let you dance with your dance, right? The sweaty green used to fit like a glow back when love was a wild.
SPEAKER_14It ain't broke yet, but damn it needs fixing. Been a while since you kiss felt like kissing It's just different We've been talking about forever since we've been together. Something better ain't makes you think we're better off with all this, but we're called in between a rock and a place, it's walking down your face when we swing midnight what the hell is this all for? This wear it and go and break between a rock and a hard place for the record rolling time, take some effort for the weather. What the hell is this all for me? Is this when we land for a brain? How much more of this can we say?

Learn the facts before heading out to the beach check current beach conditions and know what each flag means. Always swim near a lifeguard. Rip currents are narrow currents that flow away from the beach. If you notice you're being pulled away from the beach and are swimming and getting tired you may be in a rip current. Think of it like a treadmill that you can't turn off. You want to step to the side of it don't swim against the current try to swim across it in a direction following the shoreline. Rip currents do not pull you under but may take you as far out as a football field so people can tire quickly. The most important thing is to stay calm. If you can't escape the current float or calmly tread water. Wave for help if you can rip current strength eventually subsides and may even take you closer to shore. If you see someone caught in a rip current call 911 or get a lifeguard and throw something that floats towards the victim.
SPEAKER_23For more information please visit www beaches dot com slash safety this morning I've got some news about some local Baldwin County drug arrest and it's not to make our county or any of our cities look bad. It's not to stop people from coming here or anything else because there are drugs and crime and everything else that you can think of across the country. But this morning I want to highlight all the work that our local police agencies do without many people realizing or even understanding what it is that are all the new twenty eight of those individuals and proven guilty in the court of law again people don't understand or just sit around and play on their computers or phone. That's not what they do. They're out there 24 hours a day putting their life on the line and I don't think that everyone appreciates it but we do have crime in our county and and in Mobile and in the rest of the country and the world for that matter and our officers are trying their best to keep it all under control. Mobile Bay Patrol Service public safety and law enforcement trained with more than 30 years experience cared along the Gulf Coast, protecting our people, our property and our way of life give them a call at 251-264-2498. SPEAKER_23Let me tell you, people come from far and wide to see the evening balloon glow, maybe even jump in one and get a little lift off. Of course, balloons do stay tethered and light up after sunset. And during the daytime, there's live music, entertainment, food trucks, vendors, kids' activities, and even family zones. Evening is typically the busiest time to go, but it's the most fun. Afternoon, evening, daytime. It doesn't matter. You don't wanna miss this. This is gonna be a great, great time for the family. And you know what else is happening? There's gonna be a drone show. I'm telling you what, there'll be so much for you to see and do. You don't wanna miss it. But you know what you do wanna miss? The traffic and the parking. So you wanna get there early, bring lawn chairs, blankets, comfortable shoes, water, sun protection if you're coming during the day. Bring some cash or some credit cards for the vendors, and just go out and have a great time. That is happening right here at the end of this month. Starting on the thirtieth and going through uh Saturday, the second of May. We are definitely, I know I'm definitely heading down there, and you should too.
SPEAKER_00Become a water wash dog at Abbey's Hope.org.
SPEAKER_09I don't know what to say, I don't know what to do. That's what you did. I saw you under some of white lights dancing on you. I wanna know you like a no every rope back home from at first to law. Then I never ever let you go.

SPEAKER_14I don't want to take to you. I don't mess with your eye.
SPEAKER_09Change your name.
SPEAKER_18I was down with the boys catching up in the unlight.
SPEAKER_14Didn't know till we walked in, it was karaoke night. She was down the circle, chased that with a light. She was laughing, they were there and on the fight. She was up on the last California baby.
SPEAKER_19You know, Johnny, he has six beers in already. This is not gonna end well. Steve, he's rumbling, bubbling, stumbling all over the place, and oh, that can't be good. Look at that stopping key action.
SPEAKER_12That's gonna draw a penalty. Drinking, driving, possible$1,500 fine, and one year in jail.
SPEAKER_19Yeah, Steve, that was a good call by the ref. One bad decision totally changes the game. You know what just goes to show if you drink when you drive, nobody wins.
SPEAKER_23Drunk drivers are dangerous to themselves and to everyone on the road in the same place and the same time that they are. I always spotlight law enforcement's uh activities and and work to help stop and prevent drugs and drunk drivers and violent crimes. Any crime actually. Just recently, the Daphne Police Department once again their patrol officers made a big dent in drunk drivers. In less than ten days, 17 DUI drivers were taken off the road by Daphne police officers. Bradley Stephen Summer was arrested on April 15th in the area of Wispering Pines and Jubilee Oak. Officers conducted a traffic stop. They found out that he was under the influence of alcohol. Wesley D. Reid also was charged with driving under the influence on the same day. Mason S. Hale was stopped for traffic violation on the 17th, and arrested at 256 a.m. near Ryan Avenue, he was charged with DUI alcohol. April the 18th, Japanese police were on patrol. They witnessed a traffic infraction, conducted a traffic stop, and the driver, Lena K. Nelson, was arrested near the Wild Wing station on US 98 for DUI. During their patrols, officers also stopped Daniel F. McKinnock and charged him with driving under the influence. Katie Lane Williamson was also charged about the same time for DUI. Daphne police officers also conducted traffic stops after observing traffic infractions on April the 19th. Philip Lee Thompson was arrested for driving under the influence at about 1.05 a.m. Ernest Thomas Dixon was also charged in the 1000 block of Pollard Road about 1210 a.m. On Saturday, the 25th, five drivers were arrested for driving under the influence after being stopped at separate times and locations. Gerald L. Wright was arrested at US 98 in Santa Rosa. Jennifer L. Petro Petri was charged with DUI at US 98 and Lavender Drive. Alexander Walker was arrested for possession of marijuana during that uh traffic stop as well. Malachi Baker was arrested at 5.02 a.m. and charged after a traffic collision where he ran into a building, crashed into a building at about 5.02. He was charged also with driving under the influence of alcohol. Anthony Lee Jordan was arrested for DUI at about 7 p.m. on the 25th of April on US 98 near Bathroad Drive. Japanese police also said they charged David Wayne Holbrook on April 25th for DUI after a traffic stop at the Waffle House. On April 26th, at about 2.31 in the morning, police conducted a traffic stop for violations at US 98 in Lavender at about 2.31, arrested Jessica P. Bates for DUI at 2.38 a.m. Another Daphne police officer conducted a traffic stop for a movement violation that was on U.S. 90. And while speaking with the driver, identified as Caleb W. Smith, it was determined that he also was under the influence and he was arrested and taken to the city jail. On April 26th, Daphne police conducted a traffic stop for traffic infractions and identified Madeline E. Bruce as being intoxicated and too impaired to be driving, and she was charged with driving under the influence and taken to the Daphne jail. William Andrew Sullivan was also arrested for driving under the influence after police conducted a traffic stop on him at US 98 near the United Community Bank. Remember, all drivers are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, but let me say this as someone who knows the business of law enforcement, as someone who supports law enforcement. These people were dangerous. Anyone who's behind the wheel at any time of the day, anything including drugs or alcohol, let me tell you, they are dangerous. They can kill themselves and they can kill you. If you don't believe me, I got a whole file. I can point the way to all the drunk drivers across the country who have killed others and oftentimes live themselves. So I say hooray to the Daphne police. Let's continue with that good job that you all are doing.
SPEAKER_14I've got that real good, feel good stuff. Up under the seat of my pit, black jack, feel, cuff. Rollin' on 35, 30 girl by my sky. You got that stunt, dance, turn, hand, dance, waiting on you to look my way, and your little hot stuff over here. We danced in the dark in your lips when don't mind. Time to get a buzz on. Let you look like the kind of life to take it wave. I will the home rolls roll, roll, roll my phone.
SPEAKER_25Who knows what a child will grow up to be? It's one of the coolest things about kids the unknown, the potential, the chance to do or become whatever they can imagine.org.
SPEAKER_23Yes, sir. That's gonna do it for us. Gonna wrap up another show, another one in the books. Glad that you are uh hanging out with us as we close out this month on the 30th day of April, 2026. Now we have a lot of things happening, as I mentioned, here on the program, and that was just a few of them. We didn't get to to give you the whole list, but there's a whole bunch of other stuff happening here along the Gulf Coast. And one thing I found out uh many years ago, you can only be in one place at one time. It's impossible to do any, you know, to do it any other way. I wish I could. I'd I'd love to be in multiple places at once. Who wouldn't? But um there's a lot of stuff happening. You're just gonna have to uh plan it accordingly. And uh it's gonna be a little bit stormy this weekend. We're gonna have some thunderstorms, we're gonna have some rain, which we badly need, anyways. But don't let that stop you from getting out and enjoying all of the activities, festivities, great things here along the Gulf Coast. Remember, as I close out this month, let me just say this one more time, you probably are comparing it. But no matter where you're driving, down the country road, the county road, or the state highway, when you hear sirens and sea light, you gotta pull to the right. It's the law, it's the right thing to do, and we wanna keep all of our first responders safe. And that's just how it is. Until the next time, you all be blessed. Stay safe. I'll see you back here in about a month. Well, actually, a couple of days, but it will be a new month, right? Y'all take care.
