SPEAKER_11She's been going out with me since she let us know by the night which won it would be. So I waited by the phone, but she never called me up, and no one was going home. So I drove by her house, drawing up, adding my truck in her thing my big bow. That's my teeth loving about this all good on. That's my girl, my whole world, but that ain't my girl. I pulled over by the girl. I've been sitting here all night, wondering what it was I did so wrong, that he did so right. I thought of breaking down the door, but there's nothing left to say that sitting four by four says it all sitting in my way, that ain't my drug and birth back. SPEAKER_02The sun stops burning We could worry about them. What else till the world stops turning?
SPEAKER_13What if it feels like Well, we ain't never gonna know unless we try to stay what if I hurt you?

SPEAKER_18Bury me in Georgia Ten miles out of Chattanooga, south of that state line. There's a no-name load off our way to just past the road on side. For hours ball, for hours, things stay in our place now.
SPEAKER_16Bury me and George. Let me have damp.
SPEAKER_24Broadcasting live from the beautiful Gulf Coast of Alabama, it's Highway 98. We've got your favorite new hits. Some of those good old hits. Indie music, gospel, bluegrass, and so much more. Here on Highway 98.
SPEAKER_21Rip currents cause an estimated 100 deaths each year in the United States. In 2021, five of these deaths were on the Gulf Coast. Rip currents are the number one ruther-related killer at the beaches along the northern Gulf Coast. The number of rip current fatalities on these beaches is more than the fatalities of flooding, tornadoes, lightning, and tropical storms or hurricanes combined. Learn the facts. Before heading out to the beach, check current beach conditions and know what each flag means. Always swim near a lifeguard. Rip currents are narrow currents that flow away from the beach. If you notice you're being pulled away from the beach and are swimming and getting tired, you may be in a rip current. Think of it like a treadmill that you can't turn off. You want to step to the side of it. Don't swim against the current. Try to swim across it in a direction following the shoreline. Rip currents do not pull you under, but may take you as far out as a football field so people can tire quickly. The most important thing is to stay calm. If you can't escape the current, float or calmly tread water. Wave for help if you can. Rip current's strength eventually subsides and may even take you closer to shore. If you see someone caught in a rip current, call 911 or get a lifeguard and throw something that floats towards the victim. For more information, please visit www.visitalbeaches.com slash safety.
SPEAKER_24Once again, reward. Now this is a hard second. Let me tell you, people come from far and wide to see the evening balloon glow. Maybe even jump in one and get a little lift off. Of course, balloons. And light up after sunset. And during the daytime, there's live music and entertainment. Food rock vendor. Evening and very fun afternoon. Evening. It doesn't matter. You don't wanna miss it. This is gonna be a great, great time for the family. And you know what else is happening? There's gonna be a drone show! I'm telling you what, there will be so much for you to see and do. You don't wanna miss it. But you know what you do wanna miss the traffic and the parking. You wanna get there early, bring laundry, blankets, comfortable shoes, water, sun production if you're coming during the day. Bring some cash or some credit cards for the vendors. And go out and have a great time. That is happening right here at the end of this month. Starting on the 30th and going through uh Saturday, the second of May. We are definitely, I know I'm definitely, heading down there, and you should too.
SPEAKER_10Looking back now, I'd have done things different. A lot of coulda, woulda, shoulda done's, but I didn't. Now I'm standing alone in the kitchen, just wishing I'd have took the time to listen some more. Held her hand and held every door, ended every night and started every morning with some kisses. But she can't go back on yesterday. Now I'm right in the middle of a too little too late looking back. Now I've a left no doors.
SPEAKER_13I was just mad in the memory of that, but with the ten minutes.
SPEAKER_10Around here, everyone knows. Let's your heart can cut real deep. Like a pocket knife, hard card in own tree. Your word and your name means everything.
SPEAKER_13Around here we speak blue, blue, mumble red, six days of work, one day of rest, boom, ground, prayers in the air on Sunday.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, we speak on foam, don't understand why we're sitting, we're all in jump, both, try to stay afloat.
SPEAKER_13One day of rest, blue, bottom bread.
SPEAKER_24And saving a life. Well, guess what? Armored jackets here on the golf code. They will bring the dream to you where every year. We have a radio as we always do. And uh well for the rest of today, it's looking pretty funny, pretty nice, high the round 77 degrees, low overnight, 64 miles, and tomorrow, Friday, well, we're gonna have some sunshine, but the clouds will begin rolling in, and some stormy weather might be coming our way over the weekend. Just like it is today, at 58th in the overnight. We do have some uh wind coming through the area, but uh nothing to worry about. On Saturday, however, we do have thunderstorms in the mix, and things are looking a little uh uh dicey, if you will. Highs on Saturday, 77 degrees, 68 and below. Windows 12 to 14 out of the north-northwest. And again, some areas of our state could see some uh hail, heavy uh downpours, and even chances of tornadoes. We're not sure if that's gonna be the situation here along the Gulf Coast, but we're definitely gonna be keeping an eye on that. Sunday, we're gonna have some leftover stuff, uh maybe some chances of some rain throughout the early part of Sunday. The highs are right around 79 degrees, 70 in the overnight. Cloudy for the most part. You might see a couple of rays of sunshine, but for the most part, it's gonna be kind of gray and dark and cloudy for most of that Friday and Sunday. For Monday, we're looking at again the hardly cloudy skies. The sun will definitely be shining, but uh we're gonna have some clouds, and the temperature is gonna be warm at about 80 degrees wind coming out of the east at about 12 miles per hour. The overnight on Monday, 70 degrees, similar to Monday, 80 degrees will be the high, 72 in the overnight cloudy sungize will prevail. But we will have again the little rain chances moving back in on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Unfortunately, that's something this time of year we can't get away from usually. Uh we have some wrong weather that moved through the park during the spring and the fall, and so um we're just kind of ending up this month. I feel bad, but you know, we never can tell. Wednesday is gonna be next week rainy, Thursday, rainy Friday. We're gonna have some rain as well. When we get back in the studio on Monday, of course, we're gonna have the latest kind of weather forecast for you right here from Coastal Alabama Radio. Are you hiring are you looking for workers? Well, right now you can advertise free on Coastal Alabama Radio. Send us your job information, the type of position, the hours, and your contact information, and we'll get that information out to our thousands of listeners and subscribers to our newsletters absolutely free.

It's like they pull me. I was gonna cry, but I wasn't gonna stop. Then my old truck found a front wrong spot. Wanna drop in, but I wasn't gonna stay. Then I heard a boss too calling my name. Wasn't gonna let the bar twist my arm, but I made up the center tones that I wasn't gonna train. Then a concert song came on. I was on the out of the door when the fan kicked in. Two, three, four, flame it on ETC for keeping the knee I'm burning on me. I was gonna drive, but I wouldn't gonna stop. Then my old truck found a front spot. SPEAKER_05Some folks believe their TV's like the Bible. They think the anthem it's just another song. We won't teach the kids to shoot their grandad's rifle. Some don't respect the dirt that they walk on. Well, that ain't gonna be me. I'm gonna put my hand up. I'm gonna stand up for what I believe. That ain't gonna be me. I'm gonna put my boot down. I gotta stand by ground Till they bury me. If you're looking for a man to give you an apology, well that ain't gonna be me. I see folks that think the whole world owes them something. They look down their nose at those with callous hands. When a sister or brother, some stranger is in trouble.
SPEAKER_13Today I don't give a damn. That ain't gonna be me. I'm gonna put my hand up. I'm gonna stand up.
